The Scottish Brass Band Association continues to explore different ways to project its work to the widest possible audience through the innovative use of social media productions.

Vimeo videos

SBBA has been uploading Vimeo videos to showcase their commitment to youth and senior banding — one of which centres on the National Youth Brass Band of Scotland — and features interviews with players, tutors, conductors, composers and staff from its 2017 course.

Meanwhile, the second video features SBBA's 2017 Festival of Brass weekend — also with interviews with players, conductors, adjudicators and participants such as the Fountain City Band from the USA.

Flavour

SBBA Education Officer, John Boax told 4BR: "This is another way in which SBBA is trying to reach out to the banding world. They give people a flavour of what we do, what the courses and competitions are about, and how they are a vibrant and relevant part of playing in a brass band."
