World Rankings — July Update

Despite being a relatively quiet month of contesting, German outfit Bayerische Brassband Akademie (3BA) continue to make good progress up the rankings ladder.

The latest Band Supplies — 4barsrest.com World Rankings see very few changes near the top following a quiet contesting month in June.

Perpetual German champion band 3BA is the most significant following its latest victory in the event in late May, while Carlton Main Frickley Colliery's French Open triumph consolidates its position ahead of the British Open.

The ranking other contests taking place since the last update were:

Aalborg Music Festival — won by Lyngby-Taarbaek;
Ripon Cathedral Contest — won by Leyburn;
Dutch Open Championships — won by Brass Band Schoonhoven;
Northern Counties — won by Kingdom Brass
Bugle Contest — won by St. Dennis
