Dutch Open to be broadcast live

The third Dutch Open Championship will be broadcast live by Brasspass.tv and Mirasound as 11 bands in two sections battle for the entertainment titles.

  The third Dutch Open takes place this weekend on Drachten

The third Dutch Open Championship is being held in Drachten on Saturday 9th June.

Brasspass.tv has joined up with Mirasound to bring you the live-stream action (starting at 1.15pm BST) with the four bands competing in the Second Division. It will be followed by seven bands competing in the Championship Section (5.00pm BST).

Judges

The contest takes place in the De Lawei venue where the bands will try to impress the adjudication team of Jan Van der Roost and Danny Oosterman with their entertainment programmes which will include a major own-choice test-piece selection. The defending champion is Brass Band Rijnmond.

The results of the Second Division will be announced around 4.15pm (BST) with the Championship winners revealed around 10.00pm (BST).
