Entries are now open for the 2018 British Composer Awards.

Anyone, including the composers themselves, can enter eligible works. Entries across all twelve award categories are judged anonymously.

Eligible

To be eligible, the works must have received a UK premiere performance, either live or broadcast, between 1st April 2017 and 31st March 2018.

Entries are made via the BASCA Awards Entry Site, where people can find the full rules, guidance and eligibility criteria.

Works for brass band are primarily included in the Wind Band or Brass Band category although they can be entered into other categories if they meet the criteria.

The closing date for entries is by midnight on Monday 9th July
