Unprecedented demand
With brass bands fans and supporters all over the world informed in advance of when they would go on sale for the 166th running of the event at Symphony Hall on Saturday 8th September, there was unprecedented demand to book seats to hear the performances of Bert Appermont's, 'A Brussels Requiem' by defending champion Valaisia, 2017 European champion Eikanger Bjorsvik and a host of world class UK bands.
