Unprecedented demand has meant that there are less than 60 tickets now available for sale for the 2018 British Open Championship at Symphony Hall in Birmingham on 8th September.
Tickets went on sale at 10.00am this morning with the seats in the Stalls, Choir, Circle and Upper Circle of the 2262 seat venue sold out by the close of the first day. There are now only a limited number of tickets left in the Grand Tier with some concessions for those with disability needs.
Delighted
A British Open Championship spokesperson told 4BR: "We are delighted that the British Open continues to be such a draw for brass band lovers, and follows a record attendance at a highly successful Spring Festival in Blackpool."
They added: "It also endorses our belief in developing these contests for the future whilst protecting their prestige and heritage.
We hope those who wish to attend will be able to purchase tickets, but we would advise that they now act quickly to avoid any disappointment."
