Lyngby Taarbaek takes the honours at the Silkeblaes contest in Denmark

  The Silkeblaes title was won by Lyngby Taarbaek Band

The Lyngby Taarbaek Band has won the Danish SilkeBlaes contest. They claimed a clear victory over rivals Aarhus Brass with Skanderborg Brass in third.

Adjudicator Alan Duguid told 4BR: "It really was a fine performance at a wonderful venue — and a great contest. I wish we had more contests like this in the UK."
