Black Dyke, fresh from claiming a hat-trick of Yorkshire Regional titles will be heading to Bolton later this month to perform at Victoria Hall to help raise funds to maintain the upkeep of the magnificent building.
The band has a busy month ahead, with their performance in Bolton followed 24 hours later with a return to The Hawth in Crawley, a shorter trip to Mirfield and a welcome appearance in Director of Music, Prof Nicholas Childs' Welsh homeland in Newtown in Wales.
Worldwide
Prof Childs told 4BR. "The hat-trick success has brought in congratulations from Pondasher fans from across the banding world — many asking when we are going to visit Australia, Japan or even South Africa. We do have a busy worldwide concert schedule, but these are a little closer to home.
We always enjoy meeting up with Black Dyke supporters and fans though, so we will be showcasing the best of Black Dyke to them in Bolton, Crawley, Mirfield and Newtown next."
