All Brass Radio Top 20: March

At the beginning of every month All Brass Radio compiles the listener's votes into the Top 20 works that have the highest ratings.

This month the first and second spots are the same February and at a glance at the Top 20 will see three tunes with an Olympic theme — something that may be accounted for by the Winter Olympics in South Korea.

Melodic tunes

Melodic tunes such as 'Myfanwy' and 'Irish Blessing' are also featured in the Top 10, but so is Ebbw Valley's version of 'Fat Bottom Girls'! Nobody would mistake that piece as anything but a toe-tapping fun tune.

Next month should be really interesting for the Top 20, with 60 tracks and 50 different ones added. Also in the mix will be tracks from the latest CD recorded by the Hepworth Band entitled, 'Yorkshire Heritage'.

Controlled by the listeners

All Brass Radio is an All Brass Band station (with one or two surprises). It plays tracks from both the latest CDs and the best of days gone by. It is commercial-free thanks to the donors.

Tune in at www.AllBrassRadio.com to listen to great brass music and vote on the tracks you like the best or dislike. The playlist is primarily controlled by the listeners.
