Daniel Brooks, the respected conductor of Elland Silver Band will be joining forces with North Skelton for their forthcoming Second Section assault on the North of England Regional Championship.

Looking forward

Daniel told 4BR: "I've been looking to widen my conducting career and this seems to be the perfect place to start. I'm really looking forward to putting a performance together with a band that has had so much recent success and potential."

Regular MD Lewis Wilkinson, added that the Yorkshire & Humberside Section B and Durham County Section A champion, was delighted to have booked the talented conductor.

"In my role as a brass teacher for Durham Music Service I was needed at the Sage in Gateshead for their annual showcase, so I was delighted when Daniel accepted my invitation. Im sure the band is in great hands."
