Redbridge lose Wise direction

Major knee surgery means Jeremy Wise will not conduct Redbridge Band at the Areas or Spring Festival

Jeremy Wise
Jeremy Wise will not be able to lead Redbridge at Stevenage or Blackpool.

Redbridge Brass will be without MD Jeremy Wise for their forthcoming qualification performances at the London & Southern Counties Regional Championship and Spring Festival.

Jeremy will be undergoing major knee replacement surgery early next month which will require a period of recuperation and rest — stopping him from conducting the band at Stevenage and Blackpool.

Replacing

He told 4BR: "It's the long term effects of an old sports injury that has already required two bouts of surgery. Now the knee needs replacing so it means a period of time away from standing in front of the band.

I've been waiting for a date and I can't postpone things, so unfortunately I wouldn't be able to conduct for a little while."

Ward replacement

4BR has been informed that although no replacement has been conformed for the Area Championships as yet, the experienced Richard Ward will take the band at the Spring Festival in Blackpool.
