Peel Hall at the University of Salford has long provided a fine setting for brass band luminaries to explore band music of the past and future.
And on Wednesday 21st February (7.00pm) it will host the University of Salford Brass Band with Conductor in Residence Tom Davoren in exploring both traditional and brand new repertoire in a special 'Heritage Concert'.

The programme will feature music composed by two names well know to Salford graduates, Goff Richards and Peter Graham, as well as Gilbert Vinter's 'James Cook — Circumnavigator', traditional marches and a taste of the future in a premiere of a new hymn setting by Paul McGhee.
