Ela keeps adding to her silverware collection

One of Welsh banding's rising stars has added more silverware to her collection after a great contest day of success in North Wales.

One of Welsh banding's rising young playing stars has added more silverware to their growing list of accolades.

Champion

14 year old cornet player Ela Haf Williams from Bontnewydd became the under 16 North Wales 'Slow Melody' champion and also won the under 18 air varie event against a strong line up of entrants at the event in Caernarfon last weekend.

Adjudicators Dewi Griffiths and Lowenna Taylor were very kind in their remarks and later in the day Ela's quartet were also the winners of the under 18 Quartet & Quintet competition.
