  John Heritage has been appointed as the new MD at Test Valley Brass

Test Valley Brass has announced the appointment of John Heritage as it new Musical Director.

Having enjoyed a successful professional musical career, having held several Director of Music posts in schools and colleges, John is also a respected freelance trumpet player. No stranger to the brass band world he has played both brass and percussion as well as being a successful conductor of a number of bands.

Principal cornet, Louise Porter told 4BR: "The whole band is excited to welcome John into the Test Valley organisation.

His musical knowledge and high class experience combined with his fun and friendly personality makes the future look very bright for us."
