Skelmanthorpe Band has confirmed that they will be led by the experienced Martin Heartfield at the forthcoming Yorkshire Regional Championships in Huddersfield next month.

Strong work ethic

A band spokesperson told 4BR: "Martin has impressed the players with his approach, including his attention to detail and strong work ethic."

In response Martin added: "I'm honoured that I've to been asked to conduct Skelmanthorpe and look forward to working with them over the next few weeks in the lead up to the contest."
