Mortimer's Men O' Brass to play yet again

Even more players are being sought for a second concert of the new Men O' Brass in the West Midlands.

The organisers are hoping more than 90 players will revive memories of Harry Mortimer's great brass ensemble this year.

The West Midlands Brass Band Association is hoping to make an even bigger 'Men O' Brass' sound this March following the success of last year's inaugural event.

That saw 69 players from 21 bands recreate the sound of Harry Mortimer's famous ensemble, and this year they hope to attract upwards of 90 players to enjoy another unique musical occasion.
