The winning entries will be used as part of the group's forthcoming concert performances in the UK and Europe, featuring tours to Scotland, Lithuania and Switzerland over the next year.
Unusual combination
A spokesperson told 4BR: "We hope to encourage young composers, no matter how experienced, to write for the unusual and unique combination of cornet/flugel, tenor horn, baritone/euphonium."
