Royal Buckley Town Band has announced the appointment of their new Musical Director, Keith Jones.

Keith has enjoyed many years of success in the banding world as both player and conductor with the likes of Conwy and Rhyl Silver — taking the latter from Fourth to the Second Section, winning the Welsh Area title three times along the way.

Acted quickly

He recently conducted Llanrug Band, taking them on their 2017 National Final appearance in Cheltenham.

Royal Buckley was keen to act quickly after the departure of Brett Baker due to his playing and work commitments, with Keith stating that he's looking forward to carrying on the progress made under the Black Dyke star's baton.
