Hammonds Saltaire has enjoyed a busy start to 2018 with their annual trip from Huddersfield to the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough to provide two concerts in two days.
It was the 20th time that the band under MD Morgan Griffiths had played to packed audiences in the distinctive 'Round' Theatre, and coincided with the debut of three new signings.

Signings
Owen Watson takes on the second baritone role from Skelmanthorpe, whilst Jessica Clayton comes in on percussion from the Friendly Band. The experienced Glenn Crisp also joins on solo cornet from Clifton & Lightcliffe Band.
Hammonds will make their first contest appearance of the year at Brass at the Guild this weekend in Preston.
