Percussionists with bands at the Butlins Mineworkers Championships playing 'Variations for Brass Band' by Vaughan Williams in the Second Section this weekend will be able to use a third timpani if they wish.

In response to competing requests, percussion provider Ray Payne has provided a 26"timpani to go alongside the 32"and 29"Majestic cooper instruments already provided.

18"Zildjian suspended crash cymbal
Bergerault Valise glockenspiel on stand
Adams Artist pedal glockenspiel (range: 3.3 octaves C5 — E8) to use as Celeste
Grover triangle on stand
