4BR Editor talks to the Italian trombone star Peter Steiner who was the featured guest soloist at the Gala Concert of the 2017 Italian National Championships in Eppan.
A local lad, Peter talks about why he took up the trombone, and how he developed into a performer who has enjoyed being taught by Lito Fontana and Joe Alessi in New York, as well as playing with the likes of the Vienna Philharmonic and Scottish Symphony Orchestras.
He has also just released a critically acclaimed CD untitled 'United' that reflects on what he calls his 'European Soul with an American Spirit'.
