Huddersfield Town FC's very own brass group, 'Terrier Brass' recently helped inspire the England national team to claim a creditable draw against World Champions Germany at Wembley — and hopes to do the same as the team prepares to play the might of Brazil this coming Tuesday.
Fixtures
The brass band players are members of the official England Band, who have provided musical entertainment at over 200 fixtures since 1996.
John Hemmingham, leader of the England Band contacted Terrier Brass last month after seeing them in action on television and on national social media.
"Huddersfield Town have grabbed quite a few headlines of late which drew our attention to the amazing support there," he told 4BR.
"Having a high quality club brass band that plays before matches is a great part of this, so it seemed a good opportunity to involve them in the England Band for the next fixtures against two of the world's best teams."
All together
The England band draw musicians from Chelsea, West Ham, Torquay, Chesterfield, Norwich, Liverpool, Port Vale and now Huddersfield Town, with John adding: "When we're playing for England we are all as one -just like the fans on the terrace.
I hope the guys enjoy the experience and stay with us for a good while. Who knows we may even get them to the World Cup in Russia."

Honour
In response, the manager of Terrier Brass, Leigh Baker told 4BR: "It's a great honour to line up for England and we are looking forward to representing both Huddersfield Town and England."
