Denton Brass has announced that their partnership with Musical Director Matt Bailey (above) has come to an end after a highly successful period of three and a half years.

Energy and enthusiasm

A spokesperson told 4BR: "Matt's energy and enthusiasm combined with his belief, both individually and as an ensemble, has encouraged us to keep improving — resulting in Denton's highest placing for 26 years at this year's Area Contest, followed by a podium finish at the Buxton contest.

We will miss him, and would like to wish him all the very best in his future endeavours."
