Martin House Hospice in Wetherby is to receive support from this year's Brass Factor competition.
The popular entertainment contest will take place on 18th November at the Engine Shed Wetherby, attracting top celebrity judges and some of the most talented brass bands in the region.
Change lives
Brass Factor founder, Alex Bray told 4BR: "I support Martin House because of the fantastic work they do with children and how they change the lives of families they support."
The aim of Martin House is to provide family led care for children with life-shortening conditions in West, North and East Yorkshire. It is a place where children, young people and their families can come to stay from time to time along their journey and find support, rest and practical help.
Hugely popular
Bhranti Naik, community fundraiser at Martin House added: "We are incredibly grateful to Alex for once again supporting Martin House with this hugely popular and entertaining event.
Music is a particularly important feature of Martin House, and our music therapists work with our children and young people to help them express themselves and enjoy the full sensory experience that music offers."
Precious moments
Bhranti added: "We also have a recording studio so they can create their own musical memories to share with their families. The money raised by events like Brass Factor goes towards helping ensure we can continue to provide these precious moments."
