Brighouse and King to showcase Gallery musical pictures

Brighouse & Rastrick will showcase their Gallery offerings under Prof David King ahead of their Royal Albert Hall appearance.

Yorkshire representatives Brighouse & Rastrick will be hosting a short free concert and open rehearsal ahead of their forthcoming National Championship of Great Britain challenge at the Royal Albert Hall.

Under the baton of Prof David King (above), it will take place on Wednesday 11th October, at the Brighouse Central Methodist Church (HD6 1AQ), and will include a preview of the test piece, 'Gallery' by Howard Snell.

There will also be some varied concert pieces which will contrast to fit all tastes.

Doors open at 7.30pm for a prompt 8.00pm start.

April 3 • We have vacancies for a trombone player and a bass player. Cleethorpes Band rehearse near the seafront on Thursday and Sunday evenings. Placed 3rd in the NOE 4th section. Other players are always welcome as we may be able to switch positions around
