2018 London & SC Area judges announced

The line-up of judges who need to be impressed in the box at Stevenage next year have been announced.

The judges have been conformed for the London & Southern Counties Area Championships

The London & Southern Counties Regional Committee has announced the line-up of adjudicators who will make the all important decisions at the 2018 Area contest to be held at the Stevenage Arts & Leisure Centre on 17th/18th March next year.

Line-ups

Championship Section: Ian Brownbill & Sandy Smith (Sunday pm)
First Section: Ian Brownbill & Sandy Smith (Saturday pm)
Second Section: Leigh Baker & Tom Davoren (Sunday am)
Third Section: Sarah Groarke-Booth & Chris King (Saturday am)
Fourth Section: Sarah Groarke-Booth & John Ward (Sunday am)

Strong panel

The Regional Committee spokesperson told 4BR: "We believe we have assembled a strong panel of adjudicators, which for some will be their first time in the box at Stevenage.

Our bands should look forward to impressing them with their performances. The Regional Committee are delighted to have secured their services and looking forward to working with them all immensely."

Trainees

They added: "We are also planning to participate in both the AoBBA Trainee Adjudicator Development and Young Adjudicator programmes that have proved popular in other Regions over recent years."
