The Reg Vardy Band is looking to regain the Dr Martin Wainstone's Cup contest title on Sunday 10th September at the Princess Alexander Auditorium of Yarm School in Stockton on Tees.
£4,000 first prize
The event, with it substantive prize fund of over £8,000, is open to Championship Section bands who have to perform programmes that contain a march, featured soloist and a major test-piece selection if they are to claim the £4,000 first prize.
Reg Vardy enjoyed success at the event in 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2015, and this year will once again team up with MD Russell Gray.
