Under the baton of MD Philip Harper the short broadcast will see the MD give his thoughts about the band's preparation and what they've been up to of late, as well as revealing their first prize-draw winner. As an added treat, sop star Steve Stewart will also talk about his forthcoming CD release, 'Over the Horizon'.

The broadcast is an initiative we want to build on, so this will be our little taster of what is hopefully to come over the next few monthsPhilip Harper

Open rehearsal

Fans from all over the world can then enjoy a glimpse of the band in rehearsal action — although not on the test piece 'Fraternity', as Phil told 4BR that he wanted to keep his approach under wraps until their open rehearsal this coming Thursday (7th September) at 7.30pm at the Dutch Barn at Whitchurch High School (CF14 2XJ).

"The broadcast is an initiative we want to build on, so this will be our little taster of what is hopefully to come over the next few months,"Phil told 4BR.

"Our preparation for the British Open is going really well, as you would expect with 25 players from the last time we played it at the Europeans still in the band."

Come along

He added: "As always we will welcome as many supporters as possible to our open rehearsal on Thursday — so if you want to find out more about the piece and how we are playing it, come along then as well!"
