Many bands in the UK may be on their summer vocations at present, but the ever popular Jager Maestros Oompah Band is getting ready for one of its most high profile appearances of the year, as they entertain over 20,000 spectators at the England versus South Africa cricket test match in Manchester.
Fourth test
The Fourth test match of the series starts today at Old Trafford cricket ground (Friday 4th August), with the band booked to lead the entertainment on Saturday during the lunch and tea intervals in the fan zone area.
They will be led by their new frontman 'Hans H'Offmistein', better known as Joe Marsden, who took over Chris Haigh after he moved abroad, as they provide their usual fantastic mix of eclectic repertoire.

Come rain or shine
The group was due to perform at Old Trafford last month, but rain caused the evening's T20 cricket match to be abandoned.
However, 4BR has been told that they will on show come rain or shine this weekend, and are sure to get a mention especially from that well known avant-garde music lover, Sky's David 'Bumble' Lloyd.
