Foden's star Gary Curtin is the latest addition to the Sterling Instruments stable of international performance artists.

The Irishman has gained a worldwide reputation for his playing, and has wowed audiences during his tenures at Wingtaes, Fairey, Black Dyke and now, North West Area champion Foden's.

Factory visit

He told 4BR: "When I joined Foden's, I was approached by Sterling Instruments about playing their euphonium. I took the time to go the factory to test their euphoniums and really liked what I played, and the feel of the instrument in my hands.

They are a quality product, with the renowned craftsmanship of Paul Rigget back by the expertise and input of world class performers such as Glyn Williams and David Thornton."

The instant I played on it I found it fitted my playing style perfectly and was delighted to be able to work with Sterling instruments and to help promote their brand around the worldGary Curtin
