The new hymn tune setting of 'Manchester', released to help raise funds for the victims of the Manchester Arena attack, has risen over £1,000 in less than a week.
Publishers, Pennine Music Publishing, have made the arrangement available both as a digital download or a traditional hard copy version.
Across the world
Managing Director, Gavin Somerset told 4BR: "The orders have been coming in thick and fast from across the globe. Bands all over the world want to lend their support to the cause, and it was a great pleasure to send £1,000 to the Manchester Evening News fundraising page for the victims and families."
Also speaking about the success the arranger, Andi Cook added: "I'm so grateful to all the bands that have taken the time to purchase the piece. To raise so much money in less than one week is amazing. Thank you all so much."
Recording
Gavin revealed that a recording of the work is also in the pipeline which shall be available to purchase via iTunes/Amazon, with all funds going to the appeal.
The arrangement itself has had fantastic reviews on social media with bands of all levels being able to access the emotive hymn setting.
