14 contenders set for lighting the Torch at Masters

There are 14 bands lining up this year at the All England Masters International Brass Band Championship in Kettering as Virtuosi GUS looks to make it a hat-trick of wins.

The line-up of bands that will take to the stage in their bid to claim the 2017 All England Masters International Brass Band Championship title has been announced.

The event takes place on Sunday 28th May (starting at 10.00am) at The Lighthouse Theatre, Kettering.

The set-work this year is 'The Torchbearer' by Peter Graham, with the defending champion Virtuosi GUS, aiming to make it a Masters hat-trick, up against 13 rivals that include Brass Band Willebroek from Belgium, who recently came fourth at the European Championships in Oostende.
