A fine turn out of performers made for a great event in Norwich

The East Anglian Brass Band Association recently held its annual Solo & Quartet contest at Blackfriar's Hall in Norwich.

The event attracted competitors of all ages from across East Anglia, with numbers up on previous years.

Adjudicator David Stowell told the audience that '...the performers all seemed to enjoy themselves and it was great the number of entries is increasing and long may it continue'.

March 15 • We are a friendly, welcoming 4th section band based in Tameside, Greater Manchester. Following our 4th place at the North West regionals, we are looking for a SOLO CORNET player (position negotiable). We rehearse on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
