A serious knee injury means Kevin Whitaker is putting his feet up for a short spell as contest secretary at the popular Wychavon Festival of Brass.

There is a new contact point for bands taking part in the Wychavon Festival of Brass

4BR has been informed that Kevin Whittaker, the hard working contest secretary of the popular Wychavon Festival of Brass, has temporarily stepped down from the role as he recovers from serious knee surgery.

With an extensive rehabilitation programme set up for him over the next few months he has decided to literally put his feet up during what will be a short break from the organisational duties of the event.

In the meantime he has handed over the reins to Chairperson Val Trim, with bands advised to make their competition entries and enquiries to her until further notice4BR
