New MD appointed at Moulton 77

Colin Jones has been appointed the new MD at Moulton 77 Band

Moulton 77 Band has announced the appointment of Colin Jones as their new MD.

Colin's playing career started on baritone before eventually seeing him play with distinction for the Point of Ayr Band from North Wales for over 20 years.

Experience

He also started conducting with the Point of Ayr Colliery Junior Band as well as with the local bands of Deeside Silver and the Gwernaffield.

A former resident conductor of Enderby Band he has also directed the likes of Croft Silver, Wigston and Market Harborough Air Training Corps, which is a military style marching band.

We are pleased Colin has joined us. He is looking forward to working with us to develop our musical ability to meet our ambitions of moving up to the Third Section in the near futureMouton 77 Band
