Following the recent news that Paul Holland had resigned as Musical Director after eight years at the helm, Flowers Band has announced that David Childs will be working with them as a Guest Conductor.

Band Manager John Gillam told 4BR: "The Trustees and Committee would like to thank Paul for his contribution to Flowers Band during this time and wish him well in his future endeavours. His final appearance as Musical Director with us will be at Pershore Abbey on 22nd April."

4BR understands that the star euphonium player will help with some concert appearances after this date and that no decision has been made over a new permanent Musical Director.
