The recent Annual General Meeting of the South West Brass Band Association saw members give a heartfelt 'thank you' to three stalwart Executive Committeemen.
Brian Elliott and Keith Gibbs officially retired from their offices of Secretary (23 years) and Treasurer (27 years) respectively, whilst Alan Gears also took his leave from the organisation.
Incredible service
A spokesperson told 4BR: "All three have given incredible service to the Association and will be hugely missed. However, they don't all get away completely, as Brian has accepted our invitation to become a Life Vice-President, and Keith has become a Life Associate Member and will also remain on the Executive Committee."
