The newly crowned Yorkshire Regional Champions, Black Dyke will be taking part in the 'Tour de Yorkshire' international cycle race in April.
Although the band won't be donning the lycra and getting on their bikes, they will be helping the cyclists as they speed up and down the breathtaking scenery of the Yorkshire Dales between the 28th-30th April — and especially when they pass through the band's home village of Queensbury on the last day of the event around 2.00pm.

An ensemble from the band led by Brett Baker will provide music as the peloton progresses through the streets.
Band Secretary David Hirst told 4BR: "The band is proud to represent the village of Queensbury in this fantastic event for Yorkshire.
It is a real showcase to the world and we hope we will give the fans and supporters plenty of entertainment and the riders a little bit of an extra boost as well."
