B# links to National Youth Championships with sponsorship deal

The market leading instrument cleaning solution company will be doing a bit of educational sponsorship at the National Youth Championships this weekend.

Keep it clean
The b# company will be sponsoring the Best Instrumentalist awards at the National Youth Championships

It has been announced that the market leading b# company is to sponsor the 'Best Instrumentalist' prizes at the forthcoming National Youth Brass Band Championships of Great Britain at the University of Salford this Sunday.

b# is working closely with Brass Bands England to promote healthy playing and to encourage players young and old to clean their instrument on a regular basis.

Delighted to sponsor

National Sales Manager Ian Hill told 4BR: "We are delighted to sponsor the Best Instrumentalist prizes at the Championships. The competition is a real foundation stone of the banding movement and one we are delighted to support."

Ian went on to explain why the company feels that support for the event means so much to the company: "Historically, players have tended to clean their instruments with washing-up liquid, many of which contain salt.

It's about trying to inform players, especially from a young age of what is good for them and their instruments.

Water plus salt isn't a good combination for a brass band instrument and can result in possible corrosion, so it was vital that the b# cleaning kit was eco-friendly, highly effective and didn't cause damage to any delicate finishes or components."

Cleans

The company's 'Virtuoso Cleaning Kit' consists of an 'Instrument Soak' that cleans the instrument from the inside out, removing the unpleasant biofilm from the instrument pipework, as well as 100% natural 'Clearing Oils and Greases' which leave your instrument with a pleasant citrus scent and an easy 'next time clean' anti-static coating.

After the soak there is a 'Finishing Avocado Polish' that gives the instrument a fantastic finish.

b# have teamed up Helin of Germany to include a quality purpose-made brush and cloth pack to make the 'Virtuoso Brass Instrument Cleaning Kit' the only product of its kind.
