Sterling Musical Instruments has announced a new addition to their ranks of international endorsees, with the news that Leen Vandenhende, former solo baritone with Brassband Willebroek has become their latest International Performance Artist.
Leen was recently appointed solo baritone with by Dutch Champion Brassband Schoonhoven and will make her first appearance with the band at the forthcoming European Championships in Ostend as well as at the World Music Contest in Kerkrade.

A Sterling Instruments spokesperson told 4BR: "Leen is in demand as a guest player with leading fanfare bands and brass bands in Belgium and The Netherlands and recently was invited to play with Black Dyke Band.
She is keen to promote the baritone as a solo instrument within the brass band world but also to seek wider recognition for it as an ensemble instrument throughout Europe."
