Following the recent Scottish Brass Band Association AGM held in Dunfermline a special 'Learning Festival' was held where delegates were invited to attend workshops on adjudication and conducting as well as a percussion masterclass.

Shadowing process

David Frame, Scotland's newest member of the Association of Brass Band Adjudicators, following his completion of the SBBA/AoBBA training was also on hand to provide delegates with details of his own experience of the 'shadowing process' which sees prospective adjudicators gain invaluable experience.

AoBBA Public Relations Officer Sarah Groarke-Booth told 4BR: "We were delighted that David was invited to take part in the 'Learning Festival'. His involvement prompted a good deal of interest, and we hope it will lead to the development of potential adjudicators in Scotland."
