Strata Brass has made several new signings as they look forward to their Yorkshire Pageantry test.

Strata Brass has made several new signings ahead of their top section appearance at the Yorkshire Championship Area in Huddersfield in March.

Signings

Philip Barrett joins the front row from South Yorkshire Police Band, with Hannah Broadbent coming in on 2nd cornet having returned to the area from university. Natalie Tyrell takes on the solo trombone role from Shirebrook Welfare Band with Lindon Bolt completing the bass section on EEb tuba.

A spokesman told 4BR: "These players bring with them a wealth of experience and complete the team for the Area contest.

We are now focused on what will be a big challenge to maintain our Championship Status but our MD Alan Hobbins has already raised the bar at the first few rehearsals and the band is responding well."
