The Guards Chapel Recital Series starts this month at the iconic venue.

One of the most evocative concert venues in London will host the first of a series of lunchtime performances next week.

The Guards Chapel Recital Series will take place at The Guards Chapel on Birdcage Walk in London, and each month from January through to July will host ensembles from the iconic Household Division Bands in free concert performances.

Recitals are to be given by the Guards Percussion Ensemble, Brass Quintet, Saxophone Quartet, Flute Ensemble, String Ensemble, Big Band and Grenadier Guards Brass Quintet.

Important showcases

A spokesperson told 4BR: "The concerts are important showcases for the professional musicians and form an important part of the Household Division Bands engagement with the public.

We welcome listeners from all around the world for what is always a relaxed and enjoyable lunchtime event.

People who wish to find out more about a possible career with us are also welcome to stay behind and find out more."
