Cory hope to enhance their world wide status with their new website

The world's number 1 ranked band has just launched its brand new website.

Excited

Commenting on the new online offering from Cory Band, MD Philip Harper told 4BR: "We're very excited by this development which will help to enhance and reflect our position as leaders in the world of brass bands.

We hope the new site will have immediate impact with all who visit, but it is particularly aimed at first-time visitors — people who may never have heard a brass band before, and don't know anything about Cory Band.

This is all to do with our passionate desire to constantly develop new audiences for brass band music, and so the site walks visitors through a 'ground up' description of who we are and what we do."

Fabulous photos

Philip added: "We've used some of the fabulous photographs which have been taken of the band in recent years by Ian Clowes, John Southcombe and Chris Howley amongst others, and the designers, Jammy Custard in Cardiff, have made it look a million dollars.

But, functionality is just as important in the 21st Century, as an organisation's website is its public facade 24/7, and so at the heart of the site is an events diary which aims to offer potential concert-goers all they could need in terms of information and incentive to come along and see the band in action."
