Bands welcome to go Pot hunting in June

If your band and supporters want to enjoy a great contest day out then why not enter the Denby Pottery Village 'Brass on the Green' contest this June.

Denby Pottery Contest
If your want to go pot hunting this June, this is the perfect contest for your band.

The annual Denby Pottery Village 'Brass on the Grass' contest will take place at the popular Derbyshire village on the 25th June.

Open to bands

The inaugural event in 2016 was a huge success, with the title eventually being claimed by Kibworth Band. Entry is open to bands from all levels, including unregistered and youth ensembles, with each performing a mini concert programme.

Great attractions

There is also plenty of great attractions for people to enjoy throughout the day, including BBQ and bar, charity stalls, farm shop and restaurant.

A purpose built covered stage area will be in place for the day just in case the weather is not as kind as last year, although the organisers are hoping to encourage people to bring along their own deck chairs to enjoy the brass band music in the sunshine.

Entry is open to bands from all levels, including unregistered and youth ensembles, with each performing a mini concert programme4BR
