The Brass for Africa Charity will be heading to Skegness today to visit the Butlins Mineworkers Championship as guests of Band Supplies Ltd.
The banding world can find out more about what the charity does from Senior Teacher and Team Leader, Frank, who grew up in Kampala and who has become a professional teacher through the charity's support.
Special guest
A Brass for Africa spokesperson told 4BR: "Frank is in the UK as a guest of Alex Parker who has just returned from a six-month placement in Kampala.
If you want to know exactly what the charity does to help through music-making, some of the most disadvantaged young people in Africa, then just come along and say hello. We will be there all weekend."
