The BAFTA-winning TV production company behind 'Gogglebox' and 'Doctor in the House' is looking for the help of brass bands for their next series of 'The Big Life Fix with Simon Reeves'.

The producers are looking for people who feel they could benefit from a tailor-made invention — and in this case, they want to feature a musician who is currently unable to play their instrument and see whether it's possible their team of engineers, designers and skilled scientists to come up with a workable solution.
The aim is create bespoke technology for individuals and groups to transform their lives for the better. In the first series, the team came up with solutions for a range of issues affecting individuals and communities, including creating a device to counter the effects of Parkinson's disease for a young graphic designer, building a bicycle for a boy born with no hands or feet and connecting a remote village in Wales to the internet.
Looking for groups or individuals
Assistant Producer Ellie Priestman told 4BR: "We're looking for individuals and groups who have been involved in the music world, either as professionals or a talented amateurs, but who are currently unable to perform due to a health condition, old age etc.
Our scientists will then see whether it's possible to adapt their instrument to make it lighter, operable with one hand or generally easier for them to play.
Essentially, we're looking to help anyone who thinks their life (or someone's they know) could be improved by our brilliant team of engineers and inventors."
