The funeral arrangements for the legendary former Black Dyke baritone player John Slinger have been announced.

The funeral will take place on Tuesday 10th January at 2.15pm at Park Wood Crematorium, Park Road, Elland, Halifax (HX5 9HZ).

The family has asked if some former and current members of Black Dyke Band could perform at the service.
