So many bands have been doing their bit to help raise the festive spirit within their local communities this Christmas — including the youngsters from Consett Junior Brass (above), who performed carols to residents around the streets of their town.

And the youngsters not only provided them with music, including trips to four residential care homes, but they also gave out Christmas cards as well!
