New addition to Camborne ranks

There is a new face on the euph and baritone section at Camborne.

MD Kevin MacKenzie will have an addition to the baritone section to conduct in 2017.

Camborne Town Band has announced the signing of Viv Hawkey as their new second baritone player. He will take up his new role in the new year.

Delighted

Musical Director Kevin Mackenzie told 4BR: "We are delighted to welcome Viv to the band. He is a very experienced player who is a great signing.

I would also like to thank Garry Lannie for his contribution, which included being part of winning performances at the famous Bugle contest, our new 175th anniversary CD, the 'Brassed Off!' stage show and our outstanding top-six finish at the National Finals in 2015. We wish him all the very best."
